Shinrin-yoku, or Forest Bathing, is a Japanese practice that centers around spending time in nature to lower stress levels. I love the concept and created an educational infographic to teach people more about it. I had a great time designing this piece. I hope that you can feel the tranquility of Shinrin-yoku through the serene and verdant design layout.

Oregon Coast: A Travel Tale is a two-part digital storytelling feature that focuses on an important transitional period of my life and the ocean-filled vacation I took to clear my mind. I discuss the more serious and watery details in the Adobe Express story, From Brookings to Newport. The associated blog post covers the culinary details of the trip in a fun and conversational style.

This is a piece for the OG Goths and Emos! Hot Topic Redux is a hypothetical rebranding proposal for the Hot Topic brand. It focuses heavily on the concepts that made the brand popular in the late 90s-late 2000s in an effort to extend the brand specifically to the Elder Millennial demographic. The proposal plays heavily into nostalgia while using modern integrated marketing methods.

The premise of this presentation deck focuses on a hypothetical extension of The Idaho Foodbank’s “Hunger-Free Idaho” mission through permaculture and homesteading education programs. The Food For Change program is meant to serve the 9% of Idahoans struggling with food insecurity. Plus, it also serves the additional benefit of lessening the burden on The Idaho Foodbank’s food reserves.

This project is close to my heart. When I discovered Vici Wellness’s Oh Mi-Graine topical patches, I knew they deserved to be featured! #LifeWithoutMigraines presents a hypothetical digital marketing campaign geared toward migraine sufferers looking for natural migraine treatments. It is my hope that more people will discover these patches and have a chance to enjoy a #LifeWithoutMigraines.

CASE STUDY
This fun case study tells the tale of a little chocolate caterpillar named Cuthbert and the legal battle that nearly locked him away for life! The #FreeCuthbert case offers a look at the UK’s chocolate caterpillar cake tradition and Aldi’s genius social marketing campaign that ultimately saved little Cuthbert. While Cuthbert’s case is unique, the insights learned from the #FreeCuthbert campaign can serve as an excellent example of how to handle a crisis while maintaining a consistent brand personality.
